DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID
Case No.  1758775  Stacy B.
DISMISSED Aug. 18, 2011
Nicole’s extensive record of drug convictions returned to harassher years later – after she had turned her life around and started a successful advertising business – in the form of an  arrest for Driving While License Invalid in Harris County.  She had failed to take a drug class, had administrative fees outstanding, SR-22 problems and owed some $1000 in tickets.  We advised her on the best way to handle this, waded our way through the paperwork and ran interference with the DA’s office and DPS and were able to obtain a Dismissal after only several weeks.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1652766 – Jerry P.
DISMISSED February 16, 2010
Jerry had a DWI on his record and his license had been suspended for not paying a surcharge – but – typically – Jerry was unaware of the suspension since he had recently moved. We were able to sufficiently prove the change of residence and lack of notification by DPS.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1538212 – Chris M.
DISMISSED
Chris’ DWI attorney did not inform him about the how the DWI would affect his license and the resulting surchages. As a result Chris was arrested for a DWLS while still on probation for his DWI. Chris’ grandfather, the pastor of a large, prominent Houston church, retained Mr. Haggard to straighten out the mess and try to prevent the State from revoking his grandson’s DWI probation. Mr. Haggard obtained a rapid Dismissal of the DWLS and worked with the probation office and courts to prevent the filing of a Motion to Revoke Probation – a rare occurrence in Harris County. [Normally, an arrest while on probation triggers the automatic filing of an MRP.]

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1459864 – Brian B.
DISMISSED
Although our client had a prior drug conviction and a prior DWLS conviction, Mr. Haggard was able to get this current DWLS charge dismissed in part by working with prosecutors and our client to clear his license which had been suspended for unpaid surcharges and was discovered when Brian was involved in an accident and an officer ran his license.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1427626 – Luther W. M.
DISMISSED
Our client had a prior criminal history but by the time of this case was the responsible owner of a marketing firm who was nevertheless unaware that his license had been suspended due to tickets. Although DPSnotified him of the suspension he was completely unaware of it.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1427579 – Danny Joe M.
DISMISSED BY MR. HAGGARD’S FIRST COURT APPEARANCE
Our client learned for the first time his license was suspended when he was pulled over on a “random traffic stop” according to police. No SR-22 insurance was required and Mr. Haggard was able to obtain a Dismissal, despite a prior conviction, by the first court setting.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1415959 – Lymell C.
DISMISSED
Our client had surcharge-related problems with his Texas license and thought he could drive here legally using his Missouri license. When he showed police two licenses from two states he was charged with possession of a fictitious license as well as DWLS. Mr. Haggard was able to help our client clear his license and then obtained the Dismissal of both charges.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1325007 – Peggy H.
DISMISSED
Our client’s license had been suspended for her failure to satisfy an $8,000 judgment for having caused an auto accident without insurance. Mr. Haggard helped her obtain a payment plan and guided her through the procedures she needed to take to both comply with the Judgment and reinstate her license.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1322180 – Jonny P.
DISMISSED BY MR. HAGGARD’S FIRST COURT APPEARANCE
Our client was unaware his license had been suspended. Based on his knowledge of this court and his experience in similar cases, Mr. Haggard was able to obtain a Dismissal by his first court appearance.

Mr. Haggard used his knowledge and experience to get my case dismissed.
~ Johnny P.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE INVALID
Case No. 1304607 – Michael H.
DISMISSED
Our client’s license had been suspended for a drug conviction and at the time of his arrest he had not yet completed his drug class. Nevertheless, Mr. Haggard was able to obtain a Dismissal.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1299795 – Zackary M.
DISMISSED WHILE ON PROBATION FOR THE UNDERLYING CONVICTION
Our client’s license had been suspended for a drug conviction but his previous attorney had not made him aware that he would lose his license as a result of his drug conviction.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1290488 – Kimberly T.
DISMISSED
Our client’s license had been suspended in 1995 for having caused an accident without insurance to pay for the damages. She never went to court and a judgment was entered against her. She had contacted the Plaintiff’s attorney several times in the 2 years prior to her arrest for DWLS to try to work out a payment plan but had not made any headway when she was one day stopped and arrested for DWLS. One attorney advised her to file for bankruptcy. Mr. Haggard had a better idea as to how she should solve her problems. Not only did our client not have to file bankruptcy; Mr. Haggard was able to obtain a Dismissal.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
Case No. 1265262 – Warren B.
DISMISSED
Our client’s license had been suspended for unpaid traffic tickets but he had moved and so was not notified by mail. Based on his current knowledge of the court, Mr. Haggard was able to advise our client what needed to be done. Our client followed his advice, Mr. Haggard went to work, and obtained a Dismissal.

DRIVING WHILE LICENSE SUSPENDED
